Defend My Mail!

I'm in your base. Stealin your mail. (OMG first pic of my zealot/ on Iron Rock)
It seems the recent change to capping a zone have changed. Now, instead of defending mailboxes you actually have to be in the RvR lake and actually do something. Isn't that awesome? Forcing everyone to do their part for some nice battles against the opposing side that's trying to stop your beloved flip. It's a brilliant idea. That is, if it actually worked like that.

Instead the mailbox defenders have given up their long careers of making sure their mail is secure for defending the guards. Not the battle objective guards but the warcamp guards. These crafty ex-mailbox defenders have moved their station from the mailbox to slightly outside the warcamp. Allowing them to be defended by the heroes of the warcamp that restlessly guard the outside from the opposing force.

Although Mythic sees that they actually defeated the Mailbox Defender Forces by moving them into the RvR lakes they failed to make it so they actually have to do something to earn the flip. Not only are they sometimes afking outside the warcamp not helping with the progress of the flip (sometimes ruining the flip altogether). They are also ruining the delicious Against All Odds buff that so many people love, sense the migrated mailbox defenders are technically in the RvR lake they count as your force.

So, if you see a person afking just outside the warcamp. Send them a mail telling them "Hey, what gives? My mail was stolen because you neglected your duties as a mailbox defender. I demand you pay me 10 gold in compensation for the losses. Good day."

My Apprentice

He was once my apprentice too.
WARNING: 1 CURSE WORD AT THE END. Not that anyone cares.
Kiyl is a Disciple of Khaine that plays on Gorfang. For a week now he wanted me to post how pro he is. But, if you haven't guessed by now the only one I listen to is my warband leader(and Kiyl isn't one of them). So, here it is a post for you Kiyl.

Where can you find this DoK named Kiyl?
Well, you can find him dead in the frontlines of your scenerio.
He can do mediocre heals as he's challenged my zealot, many of times.
But, fails by 100 000 each time.
He was so distraught,
he seemed to give up his healing career and worry about himself.
He used to wear a sword and chalice,
as he healed the group quite well.
But, whenever he sees me in his group.
He switches to his damage gear.
I don't blame him.
As I've crushed many a soul.
But, this special DoK.
Was once in my guild.
So, I challenged him again.
As he and I healed away.
Only I stood ontop.
So, I turned to Kiyl and said.
"Kiyl you are but a young padawan."
"I will never be able to defeat you." He replied sadly.
"I know." I paused with a victorious smile on my lips.
"But do not worry. as I will teach you to dps and heal and you'll be second only to me" I assured.
"Oh great Verras. I am humbly your bitch." said Kiyl.

That is how Kiyl became the DoK he is today.

Taking The Plunge

Sure, it may seem retarded. But, we took the plunge into WoW as well.
Spectralfox wanted me to post about our trip to WoW. I said no. Then he offered me 10 virgins. So, here it is.

World of warcraft (WoW) all of us have heard of it and some of us have played it. Sure, we mock it, call it nerdy and easy. However, when the team took a month or so break from Warhammer we decided to try WoW. I started as a priest, Spectralfox was a paladin, Vavinater a rogue, and Axenhax as a mage. We played for two days, questing together. If you played WoW you should of noticed how boring it is playing alone, so we vowed to stick together for our leveling careers.

When we hit level 15 we joined up for dungeons using the dungeon finder. After getting insta-pops we headed into ragefire chasm. Man was that an easy dungeon. So, we spammed the dungeon finder till we could spam it some more. Except this time with Wailing Caverns as the dungeon. As the group setup was a tank, healer, and 3 dps, meaning I was the only healer, and was it easy. The heals were easy to do as it seemed the tank could never lose agro.

Now, I may have said healing was easy. But, did I think wrong. In battlegrounds [the scenario equivalent] I tried to heal my group. This was the hardest thing I've ever attempted in my life. First off everyone ran around doing there own thing [It was like Warhammer Orvr in Nordland] and no indicator where my group is. Thus, making it impossible to find out where the person that needed heals was. If you want to heal in a battleground you can only heal those you see. Finding someone out of range is impossible and by the time you start healing your killed by a maxed level rogue in one shot.

So, needless to say I got mad and gave up and started a warlock as Axenhax made a warrior [his true calling is always mdps]. So, I started out on my long journey to catch up. Spamming dungeons over and over again until Call to Arms came out [Equivalent of Weekend Warfront] and spammed the battleground. The CC in this game is ridiculous. As I could fear [This move makes the opponent run away from you for like 9-15 seconds. It literally controls the opponents character] someone 100 times since it didn't seem WoW had any immunity timers.

After I won a thousand times due to my CC. I finally climbed the ladder to level 52 and realized that the pvp sucked and came back to warhammer.

The End.

Tier 4 Syndrome

People who have Tier 4 Syndrom think they're Cool as Ice
Most of us have been to Tier 4 and some of us haven't. For those of you who haven't I will explain what Tier 4 syndrome is. Tier 4 syndrome is a mental disease one gets from reaching rank 40 and it instantly goes to their head. The effects of Tier 4 syndrome don't show until they create an alt, whether it be on the same side/server or different side/server.

Some effects include but are not limited to; Cockiness, stupidity, and a huge ego. Since they've been to Tier 4 they are instantly better than all the lowbies out there since they've "experienced" most of the game. It doesn't matter whether they were any good at their class or good at anything, they just place themselves higher than you on the smart scale. Often when two people who have created alts collide in a debate it's usually to show the alpha male of who knows more about the game. Making the winner think that he's the most popular guy out there.

If you haven't been to Tier 4 but have seen someone from tier 4 giving you orders don't mind it [unless they are the warband leader]. Most likely they are wrong. For instance in Tier 2 if they tell you to rush the kings room instead of pulling champions 1 by 1 it's because they are too clueless about the tier below them that they think anything that you can do in tier 4 you can do it in the lower tiers.

So, they may know more about Tier 4 but they don't know as much about the lower tier that you're in than you do. That my friend is Tier 4 Syndrome.

Also, there is no cure.

NO EXCEPTIONS

We had as much luck as this guy.
About five days ago Vavinater decided to resubscribe into Warhammer to play along side all of us. He already knew that we had transferred to another server [Iron Rock]. So, he went to transfer his character but beforehand we had to figure out if he was unsubscribed for 90 days.

After looking for hours around the account information page and trying to find past billing information we resorted to googling on how to find out. Although, we were dumbfounded when no results where found. We had as much luck as looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Anyways, we got lazy and decided to just phone the company. So, after we waited 20 minutes of the most awesome songs we get through and found out we phoned the wrong support line. After putting us on hold for another 5 minutes we got transferred through. After another 20 minutes of awesome hold music we got to talk to the guy.

It turns out he missed the 90 day marks by 4 days. So, the guy tells him he's going to send it up to Mythic and they should contact him in 1-3 days.

2 Days later he gets notified by Mythic that they will not allow him to transfer. So, NO EXCEPTIONS to the law of Mythic. Whoever came up with the idea of "you want to transfer to play with your friends? Then don't pay us for 90 days." Should really stop to think about what he just did.
